We (a group of pagans from the northwest), are putting on a Summer Solstice festival in the Pacific northwest; we would like to invite you to attend.
Midsummer In The Northwoods will be held in a wooded location (40 acres) about 30 minutes outside of Bellingham, WA. The registration will be limited to 300 people. Camping is included in your registration and will be rustic so please bring water, light source if you need it and camping gear.
Included in the festival will be several classes and workshops, bands, a drumming circle, vendors, a reenactment of the ancient sun mythos, group circles, a feary ball, games, food vendors, networking opportunities, and camping. The focus of the festival will be on the sun and transformation. We would like to create a feel of going on a spiritual journey.

| Belly Dancing In Circle Casting And Ritual | By: Lorelei | |||

This workshop will teach the basics of Belly Dancing and the techniques of casting and ritual with movement. This class will be low aerobic, yet very invigorating. No previous dance experience required; just a can-do attitude. Wear comfortable clothes (sweats/stretch pants and big T-shirts work just fine), a scarf or veil (optional), and bring a bottle of water (you'll get thirsty). There will be some sitting on the ground and dancing done with bare feet, so bring a blanket/mat to sit and dance on. Consult a doctor before attending and participating in this workshop if you have any concerns or previous physical conditions that may be aggravated. Instructor Bio: Lorelei has been studying the art of Belly Dancing for over 20 years and a practicing witch for over 10 years. She has studied under a variety of teachers and has danced with several dance troops, learning many of the different styles from different traditions of the dance. Her studied styles of the dance varies from tribal to cabaret and everything in-between. She is an ordained minister with The International Assembly of Spiritual Healers and Earth Stewards and actively involved in local and state-wide pagan activities. | ||||

Make hay - and flower essences - while the sun shines! In this class we¹ll talk about what flower essences are, how to use them and how they are made with the help of the sun. Also, you'll learn the similarities and differences of herbs, herbal oils, essential oils and flower essences. This is a hand-on class. Instructor Bio: Since childhood, Diana Pepper has felt a close bond with plants and animals which has grown into a deep reverence for Life. Now she communicates with the plants, devas, fairies, angels and Ascended Masters of Tree Frog Farm. Through Nature Spirit Healing, Diana offers spiritually-based individual healing sessions. She also teaches classes on flower essences and other topics. Diana is a Master of Divinity degree candidate. | ||||

Instructor Biography: Donald Michael Kraig
Donald Michael Kraig, author of Modern Magick, Modern Sex Magick, The Truth About Evocation Of Spirits and other paper back books and audio books graduated from UCLA with a degree in philosophy. He has also studied public speaking and music (traditional and experimental) on the university level. After a decade of personal study and practice, he began ten years of teaching courses in the Southern California area on such topics as Kabalah, Tarot, Magic, Tantra, and Psychic Development. He has been a member of many spiritual and magical groups and is an initiated Tantric.
Born in Chicago and raised in Los Angeles, Don’s early life was one
conservative Judaism, which to him meant be good to others, attend
religious services and everything else will turn our okay. Just before his
Bar Mitzvah, however, one of the Rabbis at his temple demonstrated to Don
some of the techniques of Judaism which were more mystical in nature. Thus
began a search for the inner truths of life that has lasted over three
decades.
Don is a Certified Tarot Master, an honor bestowed upon him after intense
study by The Associated Readers Of Tarot, a not-for-profit, international,
educational organization. The Tarot Certification Board has awarded him
the rank of Certified Tarot Grandmaster. He has read for thousands of
people both privately and at "psychic faires" across the U.S. He is an
ordained minister, holds a Certificate in Clinical Hypnotherapy and is
working on a doctorate in that subject.
Don was the Editor-in-Chief of The Llewellyn New Times (now renamed New Worlds) for three years and FATE
magazine, for another three years. He is the editor for Llewellyn’s on-line journal. He has contributed numerous articles for several magazines and has been interviewed many times on television and radio, both locally and internationally. He even had a radio show, "The FATE Magazine Radio Hour".
Don has acquired a library of over 3,000 books, magazines, and manuscripts __
both common and rare __ that deal with metaphysics, the occult and related
subjects. He has been a member of several metaphysical and magical
organizations.
After ten years of personal study and practice he began to
teach classes in the Southern California area on such topics as Kabalah,
Tantra, Tarot, magick, psychic development, psychic self-defence and
Wicca. Over the next ten years he refined his teaching style. He took his
most popular classes, expanded on them and refined them into what has
become Modern Magick, the first step-by-step coursebook in ceremonial
magick. Almost 600 pages in length, the book is arranged into 11
time-tested lessons. It explains such subjects as magick, Kabalah, Tarot,
Tantra, talismans, reincarnation, sex magick, pathworking and much more
in a clear, easy-to-understand and easy-to-use manner. As a result, it has
